Obituary

Doris E. (Rowley) Conboy, 85, of Plympton, formerly of Hanson, died Thursday July 23rd, peacefully surrounded by her family at the Wingate at Silverlake. Doris was the loving wife of the late, John R. Conboy. Doris was born and brought up in Boston, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Smith) Rowley. She was the cherished mother of, Kathleen Bagnell and her husband Tom Mason of Middleboro, William Conboy and his wife Gayle of Plympton, Jack Conboy and his wife Kathleen of Halifax and Anne Johnson and her husband Christopher of Whitman. Nana to, ten grandchildren, (predeceased by, grandson Jamie Bagnell), two step-granddaughters and eight great grandchildren.

She spent numerous hours with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, teaching them to color, paint and play cards .Doris also enjoyed, ceramics, baseball, Whist and loved being with her family and friends.

In addition to her children she is survived by her brother John Rowley and his wife Mable of Westford and Liz Lawrence and her husband Connie of Utah; many nieces and nephews.

Her services will be held on Tuesday July 28th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, burial will follow in the MA.V.A. National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at 12:45PM.Visitation will be held on Monday July 27th from 4:00-8:00PM.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Chatham Center #450, 29 Craft St., Newton, MA 02158
