Duxbury – Ann “Dixie” Gustafson 84 formerly of Plymouth, Hingham and Whitman died Wednesday July 22 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Carl J. Gustafson.
Born and raised in Brockton she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Carleton) Fairman and a graduate of Brockton High School.
Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hingham and served on the board for the Protestant Social Services Bureau in Quincy.
She is survived by her loving children James Stewart of Marshfield, Meg Roberson of Halifax, and Christine McSweeney of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held Friday August 7 from 6 -8 PM in the United Church of Christ, Rte 123, Norwell. All services will be private.
