Mary T. Humphrey, a longtime Winchester resident, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital,Boston after a brief illness. The wife of the late Arthur J. Humphrey, she was ninety-five years old.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Clara (Turcot) and William McKinnon. Mary has made her home in Winchester for over fifty years, she was devoted to her family, and enjoyed playing cards, bingo and bowling.
Surviving are her daughter Janet M. Downey and her husband Joseph “Roy” of Woburn, two granddaughters: Linda Doucette and Ellen Quinton, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. One Brother Edward McKinnon of NH., five sisters; Cloria Pabst of Taunton, Ruth Suzdelis of Tyngsboro, Grace McIntosh of NH., Patricia Borgeson of Burlington and Dorothy Cleary of Chelmsford.
She is predeceased by her late husband Arthur, six brothers; William, Frank, Donald, Thomas, Roy and James McKinnon, two Sisters; Julia and Katherine McKinnon.
Her funeral will be held form the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Friday, August 1, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Malachy Church, 99 Bedford St. Burlington, at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Chestnut Hill cemetery, Burlington.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.
