Gedeon A. Desrosiers, 89, of Bedford, died July 20, 2009 at the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester, May 11, 1920 and was the son of Gedeon and Emma (Raza) Desrosiers. He lived in Manchester most of his life and had been a resident of Bedford the past several years.
He worked for B&M Railroad for 10 years and at the Elliot Hospital as a maintenance man until 1985. He then worked at Alexander’s Supermarket in Hooksett for several years.
He was a member of the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He had also been a communicant of St. Augustin Church for many years.
He was married to Marguerite (Gaudette) Desrosiers who died in 1965.
He leaves several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, July 24, 2009 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
