PUCKETT, LESLIE, 83, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009.
He was a retired employee of Philip Morris and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Rose (Bennett) Puckett; his daughter, Virginia Simpson; granddaughter, Shelley Vance (Craig); great-grandchildren, Emily and Katie Vance; brother, Willie Puckett; and his sister, Virginia Moody.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at 3 p.m. CST in the Smith Cemetery, Hart County, Kentucky.
Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Wednesday.
