Yvonne M. Rigney, 84, formerly of Johnston died Sunday, July12, 2009 at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Raymond F. Rigney.
Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary L. (Boulanger) Descoteaux. She had been a resident of Johnston most her life.
She was a jewelry worker in Providence for many years before retiring, a former member of the Johnston School Committee and a former parishioner of St. Thomas Church, Providence.
She is survived by her children Raymond F. Rigney, Jr. of Burrillville, Cheryl J. Bock of Cumberland, and William C. Rigney of Redmonton, CA, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a sister, Gladys. She was the sister of the late Charles, Virginia, Arthur, Irene and Harold.
