Mary E. Craig, 68, passed away at the Tewksbury Hospital on July 18th, 2009. She was born in Boston on July 25th, 1940 to her parents Daniel T. and Helen (McCarthy) Hurley. Mary has been a life long resident of Malden. She is a graduate of Immaculate Conception Grammar School and Girls Catholic High School. For many years, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts. She is survived by her children, Sharon Lee of Nashua, NH, Laurie Duffy and her husband Guy of North Andover, Allan Craig and his wife Renee Perry of Malden, Stephen Craig of Medford, Walter Craig and his wife Sonya of Medford and Derek Craig and his wife Lauren of Winthrop; by her grandchildren Elysia, Stephen, Michael, Hannah, Kyle, Sarah, Amber and Ryan; by her great grandson Sean; by her siblings Daniel Hurley of Ohio, Charles Hurley of Wakefield, Theresa Longo of Stoneham and Margo Kelley of Carlisle; and by her former husband Walter Craig of Medford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her sister Eleanor McMahon. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
