Terry Lynn Hayth, 49, of Mystic, died Friday, July 17, 2009 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 23 at Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home in Buchanan, VA with Rev. Larry Dale Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home in Buchanan.
Mr. Hayth was born, November 13, 1959, in Raonoke, VA. to the late John Hayth Sr. and Geneva Niday Hayes. He had lived in the community since 1976 and was a maintenance mechanic for Shaw Industries in Fitzgerald. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Hayth is survived by his wife of 10 years: Katherine Caldwell Hayth of Mystic, sons: John and Adam Hayth of Fitzgerald and Michael Sweeney of Tifton and daughter, Brandy Bryant of Vinton, VA., mother, Geneva Niday Hayes of Roanoke, VA.; brother: John W. Hayth, Jr. and sister Judy Ferris both of Roanoke, VA.; 2 grandchildren Megan and Bailey Sweeney. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lynn Hayth Jr. and his father-in-law, Lester Ray Caldwell.
