Aileen (Yorston) Morganti, 87 formerly of Walpole died July 10 in the Charlwell House in Norwood. She was the wife of the late Louis Morganti.
Born in Norwood, November 20, 1921, the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Hodgdon) Yorston, Mrs. Morganti was raised in Medfield and had lived in Walpole for over 70 years.
A homemaker most of her life she had also worked for several years at her mother’s store, Smith’s Hobby Shop on Main Street in Walpole.
Mrs. Morganti loved to do crafts.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Worden of Barryville New York and her son, Thomas Morganti of Boston.
She is also survived by her brother, Everett Myers of Norwood and her sister, Marilyn Crosby of Spring Hills Florida.
Mrs. Morganti is also survived by her grandson, Robert Morganti and 2 great-granddaughters.
Her memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 22 in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St. Walpole at 4:00 p.m.
Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
