Steven A. "Pork Chop" Costa, 44, of New Bedford died Tuesday July 29, 2003 at home after a long illness. He was the son of Barbara (Camara) Seamans and Manuel Costa, both of New Bedford.
Mr. Costa was born in New Bedford and had lived in New Bedford for all of his life.
He enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball.
Survivors include his parents; his stepfather, Robert Seamans of New Bedford; 2 sons, Cory Costa and Chad Costa, both of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Randall Costa, and Bruce Costa and his wife Kathy, all of New Bedford; 3 sisters, Rhonda Costa, and her companion Jesse Velez, Sandra Seamans and Christine Seamans, all of New Bedford; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; and a great-nephew.He was the brother of the late Christopher Seamans.
His Graveside Services will be held on Friday August 1, 2003 at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Thursday evening from 7-9 PM.
