Mrs. Hollyce C. “Holly” Lee, 84, of Kennesaw, Georgia (formerly of Fitzgerald) died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, July 18, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge and Rev. Greg Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee was born June 21, 1925 in Ben Hill County to the late Farin H. and Faitha Hogan Chasteen. She lived in Kennesaw for the past year. Mrs. Lee worked as a sales manager for Sears Roebuck & Company in Marietta, GA. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Kennesaw, Bethlehem Baptist Church and Arbor Baptist Church, both in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Lee is survived by two daughters: Martha Lee White of Kennesaw and Ann Lee Roach of Acworth and; grandchildren: Charles Howard White, Jr. and Bryan Lee White, both of Atlanta, Steve Roach of Kennesaw, and Kelly Barnes of Cartersville; great grandchildren: Charlotte Hattaway White, Brittany, Andy & Brandon Burkes and Christa and Kendra Roach; great great granddaughter: Brooklyn Burkes. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Albert Lee, and a sister, Katherine Hunter.
