Burke, John F., of Lynn, formerly long time resident of Marshfield, died July l2 at Massachusetts General Hospital, at the age of 56. Dear father of Joshua Burke of Lynn. Beloved son of Bernard “Pat” Burke of Marshfield and the late Eleanor (Wentzell) Burke. Loving brother of Marie L. DeMello of Scituate, Kathy A. Burke Southwood of Pembroke, Michelle T. Keyes of Marshfield, Patrick M. Burke of Lunenbugh and the late Loretta Burke-Brill and Richard Burke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was a chef in various local restaurants and in later years an employee of Stop & Shop. He was an avid New England sports fan. John graduated from Marshfield High School, class of l972 and then attended Johnson and Wales.
Funeral Mass in St. Christine’s Church, l295 Main St., Marshfield, on Saturday, July l8 at l2 noon. Reception to follow in the church hall downstairs.
