DeChellis of Brockton July 29, 2003, Penzie E. “Pan” (Morrison) DeChellis, 95 years. Wife of the late Primo B. DeChellis for over 60 years. Mother of Margaret Porter of Rowayton, CT; John DeChellis of Bridgewater; Vincent DeChellis of Saugus and Marie Rawson of Taunton.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 10 am. Funeral Mass in St.Nicholas Church, W. Abington at 11 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Donations in Pan’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Assoc., 36 Cameron Ave.,Cambridge, MA 02140.

Obituary

Mrs. DeChellis died Tuesday morning at the Braemoor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a period of failing health.

Born in Orono, Maine, daughter of the late Peter and Anne (MacDonald) Morrison. Resident of Brockton since 1958 previously lived in Dorchester. Graduate of New England Hospital for Women and Children School of Nursing. She had been a registered nurse of the former Cardinal Cushing Hospital for many years.

She loved to read and solve crossword puzzles. Long time communicant of St. Nicholas Church. She was the wife for over 60 years of Primo DeChellis. Survived by two sons, John DeChellis of Bridgewater and Vincent DeChellis of Saugus, two daughters Margaret Porter of Ct. and Marie Rawson of Taunton, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a sister Susan McGrath of Veazie, Maine.

Sister of the late Ellie MacLean, Charlotte Morrison, Cyril Morrison, Peggy Burgess and Stephen Morrison. Services as above
