Herman C. Costa, age 81, of Fall River, passed away July 13, 2009. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Manuel & Louise (Costa) DaCosta Jr. Prior to retiring, Herman worked as an Assembler for A.J. Corrugated Box Co. He enjoyed watching old time movies and did some acting for theater companies. Herman also did some acting with several famous actors in their early careers, like Charlton Heston, Greta Garbo, etc.
A good friend and caregiver, Manuel Cabral of Fall River, survive him. He was the brother of the late Evelyn C. Costa.
His funeral service will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. THURSDAY at 9:30 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours WEDNESDAY 6-8 P.M. Kindly omit flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael Church.
