Jeanne M. “Gea” Baldi, 94 of Medford, died Monday after a brief illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford for the past 39 years and formerly of Somerville. Jeanne was the daughter of the late Maria (Marasca) and Carlo DeMartino.
Jeanne was the Dining Room Manager at the former 57 Restaurant in Boston for 47 years and retired in 1990. She was a member of the St. Raphael Senior Citizen Club.
Devoted mother of Isabelle "Penny" McLaughlin and her husband Albert of Medford, Judith A. Manning and Henry Kilty of Florida, Janice Ripley and her husband Bob of Woburn, Laurie Marino and her husband Nelson of Revere. Loving grandmother of David McLaughlin and his wife Sandra, Lisa Tagliavento and her husband Tom, Kevin Manning and his wife Marie. Loving great grandmother of Thomas, Nichole, Taryn and Braelyn.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 8-9:30 AM.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
