Evelyn (Souza) Larrivee, age 80, of Swansea, passed away July 11, 2009 in Fall River. She was the wife of Leon W. “Bill” Larrivee. Born in Fall River, daughter of Manuel Souza & Rosalina (Estrella) Medeiros. Prior to retiring in 1976, Mrs. Larrivee worked for the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. as a Bottling Machine Operator & had previously worked at the Ann-Dale Cookie Co. and Raytheon in Dighton. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, a member of Our Lady of Fatima Seniors Club, and the Swansea Council On Aging.
Besides her husband, Evelyn is survived by two children: Michele Silvia of Berkley & Douglas Larrivee of Swansea. One grandson: Jason Silvia. One great granddaughter: Ella Grace Silvia. She was the sister of the late Manuel “Sam” & Serafin Arruda, John Souza, Manuel Souza Jr., Mary Souza, Emily Vincent, Anna Blackburn, Rosalind L. Watson, Maria Cabral, Angela Mello, Caroline Lavoie, Georgianna Pereira, & Lena Vincent.
Following cremation, Relatives & Friends are invited to attend Evelyn’s Funeral Mass FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea. There Are No Calling Hours.
