Augusta, GA – Mrs. Lucy C. McCoy, 95, wife of J.B. McCoy, entered into rest on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at University Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Reverend Earl Saxton officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Patricia McCoy, Doreen James (Ed) all of Augusta; one sister, Ruth C. Johnson of Aiken; three grandchildren, Christopher Alan James (Tamara), Kerri Lynn Lewis (Andrew), Valerie Nicole James; and two great grandchildren, Angela Grace James, Michael Christopher James.
Mrs. McCoy was married for 67 years and was a Homemaker. She was a member of Lake Park Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
