Obituary July 12 & 13 ,2009
Salem, NH: Mr. Peter H. (Snake) Lane, Sr., 73, died Friday at the Holy Family Hospital. Born in Union Springs, Alabama, Mr. Lane had been an area resident all of his life. He had been employed at PT Brake Lining Co.. He had served in the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Air Force. For many years he had been a wrestling coach at the YMCA in Lawrence and the Boys & Girls Club in Salem. In 1965 he recieved a certificate for the Olympic trials in Ohio. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Lane is survived by:
1 daughter: Elizabeth Lane of Lawrence
2 sons: Peter H. Lane, Jr. of Salem, NH
David Lane of Salem, NH
his close friends: Raymond and Doris Petty of Salem, NH
There are 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 6:30 pm, at the Racicot Funeral Home, 256 Broadway, Lawrence. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at the funeral home.
