BITTMANN, Peter Carroll “Anthony” age 55 of River Edge, NJ died Wednesday July 8, 2009. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee: Wood), his wife and partner in parenthood. Devoted father of Ryan who made his dad the proudest father in the world! Dear brother of Jon and wife Rosary, Trudi Cavada and husband John, Steven and wife Bonnie, along with his brother in spirit – Billy Smith. Peter is also survived by his dear mother-in-law Marion Wood, sister-in-law Susan Plokhooy and husband Bill, brother-in-law Stephen Wood and wife Sally. He will be sadly missed by all his loving nieces and nephews. Mr. “Pete” worked for many years at the New Milford Gibbs Elementary School. Peter was a past coach of the Junior Football Riverdell Hawks. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Volk Leber Funeral Home 268 Kinderkamack Rd. – Oradell, NJ. A Mass will take place on Saturday at St. Peter the Apostle RCC (ALL MEET at church) River Edge, NJ at 10AM. Visitation: Friday 6:30 to 9:30PM.
