FALL RIVER … Rose A. (Demers) Campbell, 81, of Fall River, died June 29, 2009.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Victor and the late Eva (Landry) Demers and had lived in Fall River her whole life. She was the wife of the late Oscar Leon Campbell.
She was a receptionist at the former Dominican Academy.
Mrs. Campbell enjoyed reading, word search and crosswords.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Jeanne Campbell of Fall River, and Claire Costa of Tiverton, RI, a son: David Campbell of Manchester, NH, 1 brother: Omer Demers of Fall River, 1 sister: Irene Demers of Fall River, 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Louise Campbell. Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday July 3, 2009 at 9 am at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Sts Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church, Pulaski St. Fall River, MA..
