Taunton — James A. Botellio, a lifelong resident of Taunton, died Wednesday, July 1st 2009 at the Forestview Nursing Home in Wareham, after a one year battle with cancer. He was 48 years of age. Born in Taunton, he was the son of John A. and Catherine M. (Taylor) Botellio. He was employed at the Taunton State Hospital for many years. He attended Taunton High School and graduated from Bridgewater Raynham High School. He enjoyed music and had been a member of the Taunton High School Band and had sung at the Taunton Civic Chorus. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Brian J. Rogers Botellio. He is also survived by one brother, John A. Botellio II of Auburn, Maine and one sister, Judith A. Botellio and her husband Edward P. Coelho of Berkley. He also leaves four nieces and one nephew. At Jim’s request the funeral services and burial are private for immediate family only.
