Obituary

Ann M. (Morrissey) Boultenhouse, 69, of Bellingham, died unexpectedly Friday, July 3, 2009 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of Kenneth L. Boultenhouse for 48 years.

Born in Norwood on September 9, 1939, she was a daughter of the late William and Irene (Butler) Morrissey. Mrs. Boultenhouse was a resident of Bellingham for the past 11 years and formerly resided in Medway.

She grew up in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School in 1959.

Before her retirement, she worked at Sealtest Ice Cream in Framingham for many years.

Mrs. Boultenhouse’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid New England sports fan.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, William K. Boultenhouse and his wife, Kimberly of Bellingham, Paul R. Boultenhouse of Bellingham, Janet I. Normandin and her husband, Eric of Franklin and Diane C. Santagate and her husband, Ty of Blackstone.

She is also survived by two sisters, Marie Polovitch of Norwood and Marion O’Meara of Stoneham and 8 grandchildren, Brian, Daniel and Shea Boultenhouse, Abby, Haley and Molly Normandin and Rachel and Jacob Santagate.

She was a sister of the late Claire, Robert and William Morrissey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday, July 8 at 9 a.m. from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St., Medway followed by a funeral Mass at St. Brendan’s Church, 382 Hartford Ave. (Rte. 126), Bellingham at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Medway.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m.
