Caroline C. (Capece) Pleva, 81, of Alliance Way, Manchester, NH died Saturday July 26, 2003 at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. She was born in Freeland, PA on January 5, 1922, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Anna (Vollmer) Capece. She was a resident of Manchester for 7 years, formerly living for 31 years in Peabody, MA. She was a federal government employee prior to her marriage. She enjoyed watching baseball, knitting and needlepoint. She was predeceased by her husband Regis J. Pleva in 2002.
She is survived by one daughter Anne (Pleva) Burns and her husband Lawrence of Wilmington, MA, two sons Joseph Pleva and his wife Elizabeth (Smith) Pleva of Londonderry, NH, David Pleva and his wife Maura (Doherty) Pleva of Pelham, NH, eight grandchildren, Lawrence, Deanna, and Sean Burns all of Wilmington, MA, Daniel Pleva of Londonderry, NH, Sara, Katie, Justin, and Stephen Pleva all of Pelham, NH, one brother Edmund Capece of Reading, PA, two sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Gloria) Kishen of Chandler, AZ, Mrs. Neil (Barbara) Humphreys of Farmville, VA and Stone Harbor, NJ.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2003 at 6:00pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry with cremation to follow.
