Blanche A. Miclette, 71, of Clinton St., died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of 51 years of Robert A. Miclette.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Henry Lataille and Esther (Doray) (Lataille) Beauparlant. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Miclette worked in the jewelry and textile industries in the area for many years before retiring.
She was a member of the BPOE Lodge 850 in Woonsocket. She loved being a memere and supporting her grandchildren’s sports activities.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert J. Miclette of Woonsocket, two daughters, Patricia Miclette of Woonsocket, and Pamela Miclette of Webster, MA., a brother Albert Lataille of Lincoln, and two sisters, Margaret Lazick of FL, and Joyce Baptistia of Pascoag. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 am in the North Kingstown Assembly of God Church, 451 Davisville Rd., North Kingstown, RI. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
