Juan “Pina” Rivera, of Marshfield formerly of New Bedford, died suddenly on June 20th at the age of 45. Son of Juan Rivera Montoyo of Puerto Rico and the late Nelida (Correa). He is survived by his beloved wife Amy Ryan of Marshfield, his son Dion Lee Rivera of Plymouth, his daughter, Elizabeth Nelida Rivera of Marshfield, his brother Marco Rivera of New Bedford and his grandson Diontae Rivera. Son-in-law of Gerard and Elizabeth Ryan of Pembroke. Juan was born in Manati, Puerto Rico and attended New Bedford High School. He worked at WearGuard as a truckdriver and was a die-hard Yankees fan and enjoyed collecting baseball cards. Funeral services and burial were held in Manati, Puerto Rico arranged by the Casanova Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday July 9th from 7 to 9 PM followed by a memorial service at 9 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth.
