Boston –Dorothy L. (Correia) Garcia, age 83 years, died, Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Parkwell Nursing And Rehab Center in Boston. She was the wife of the late Angelo B. Garcia who died July 7, 2008. Mother of the late Craig J. Garcia. Sister of the late Anthony J. Correia, Joseph Correia and Mary Correia-Rodriques. Dorothy is survived by 1 nephew and 2 nieces.
Mrs. Garcia was a daughter of the late Maria (Lueza) and Anthony J. Correia Sr. Dorothy was born in Peabody and lived in this area most of her life.
Mrs. Garcia’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Tuesday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Monday from 5 - 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
