Clifford L. Harrington, 85, passed away at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford on July 2nd, 2009. He was born in Revere on July 13th, 1923. Clifford was raised and educated in Revere. He has been a resident of Medford for several years and was previously a long time resident of Malden. He worked as a Truck Driver for many years for the Tip Top Bread Company and for the Accent Courier Company. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during World War II. Clifford has been a long time member of the Moose Lodge in Revere. He is survived by his wife, Dee (Neal) Harrington; by his children, Robin Grealey of Lawrence, James Grealey and his wife Martha of Medford, Laura Santos and her husband Phil of Wilmington, John Grealey and his wife Jennifer of Medford, Daphne Wentzell and her husband Michael of Stoneham and Kim Harrington and her husband Julio Osorio of Malden; by his grandchildren, Alan-Michael, Robbie, Seana, Nicholas, Aidan, Andrew, MacKenzie and Jayda; and by his sisters Jeanette Landanno of South Carolina and Dot King of Revere. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Clifford was predeceased by his brothers Norman and Kenneth Harrington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday July 8th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday July 7th from 4-8 PM.
