
Phyllis M. Gagnon, 86, of Nashua, NH, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Mrs. Gagnon was born in Derry, NH on January 18, 1923, a daughter of the late Howard B. and Helen J. (Cutting) Warren. She was a resident of Nashua for the past several months, formerly living in Litchfield, NH and Hudson, NH. Mrs. Gagnon was a member of the RISE program at Rivier College in Nashua. She enjoyed playing cards and looked forward to Saturdays for the weekly WHIST party. Mrs. Gagnon loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed flowers, gardening, trips to Foxwoods, reading, sewing and going to the beach. She had an incredible sense of humor and was known for saying "What Is, Is", she also considered herself a palmist.
She is survived by four daughters, Nancy L. Conrad and her partner Maurice Leaor of Hudson, Diana Forrence and her husband Kenneth of Hudson, Brenda Cote and her husband Christopher of Newfields, NH, and Cheryl Martin of Nashua; one son, David Gagnon and his wife Mary of Brookline, NH; her daughter-in-law, Debra Gagnon of Nashua; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest Gagnon, Sr. in 2005, her grandson Jason Gagnon in 2002 and more recently her son Ernest Gagnon, Jr. in 2007.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009, from 2 - 4pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 2:00pm in the funeral home. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
