Evans, GA – Mrs. Sylvia Elaine Hogland, 48, entered into rest on Tuesday June 30, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday July 3, 2009 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hogland was a member of West Acres Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years; Millard “Randy” Hogland, one son; Thomas Randall Hogland of Augusta, GA, one daughter; Diana Michele Hogland of Evans, GA, three sisters; Phyllis Van Ornum and husband Ron of Augusta, GA, Becky Saxon and husband Allen of Augusta, GA, and Tina Williams and husband Kevin of Palmdale, CA. Mrs. Hogland was preceded in death by her parents; the late Samuel John Knight and Thelma Mayle Knight.
Pallbearers will be Ron Van Ornum, Allen Saxon, Steve Hogland, Rusty Hogland, Tommy Perdue, and Lee Peck.
