Mrs. Carollee Cocco, age 80, of Wilmington formerly of Charlestown where she was raised and educated, passed away June 21st at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas R. Cocco. Born in Cleveland, OH she was the daughter of the late Zigmand and Leona (Campbell) Venesky.
Mrs. Coocco was a devoted mother and homemaker and enjoyed nothing more than being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her late husband and parents, Mrs. Cocco is predeceased by her sisters, Marie Hooton and Leona Peoples. She is also predeceased by her dear friend, the late Arthur Serino M.D. She is survived by her children, David Cocco and his wife Victoria of Nashua, NH, Carollee Cincotta and her husband Robert of Everett, Nicholas Cocco of Fitchburg, John Cocco and his wife Joanne of Brockton. She is also survived by ten loving grandchildren and two loving great grandchildren and is further survived by her loving companion, Frank Ouellette of Wilmington.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Dorothy Church, Main St., Wilmington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Tewksbury Cemetery, Tewksbury. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Carollee's memory to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867.
