Schena, Lucia, formerly of Medford, passed away at the Blaire House of Tewksbury, June 28, 2009. Born in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Vincenza (Bellino) & Michael Schena.
Lucy worked for over 30 years at Emerson Textile of Chelsea as a Stitcher, as well as lovingly caring for her elderly mother for many years.
Lucy is the loving sister of Arthur Schena of Tewksbury, Lena Lecce, her husband Joseph of Oregon and the late Gennaro and Agrippino Schena. Loving Aunt of Deborah (Schena) Leighton and her husband Peter of Coventry, RI, Patrice (Schena) Salani and her husband Arthur of Tewksbury, Pauline (Schena) Rasmussen and her husband Stephen of Brookfield, MO, James Schena and his wife Karen of Cape May, NJ, Michael Schena and his wife Yvonne of Andover, Craig Schena and his wife Diana of Coventry, RI, Linda Lecce and Lisa Borders. Loving great aunt of Kristian Schena, Katherine Dowd, Peter Leighton Jr., Anthony Salani, Jesse Rasmussen, Christina Schena, Nicole Schena and Michael Schena. Great great aunt of Michael and Colin Dowd.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. William Church, 1351 Main St., Tewksbury, Wednesday at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours have been omitted. Services will conclude with burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
