Obituary

SALEM - Patricia A. (Kilderry) Dash, 75, of Salem, wife of Douglas C. Dash, died Tuesday evening, June 30, 2009 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a short illness.

Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Jean) Kilderry. Pat was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of the St. Mary High School, Beverly.

She was a member of the North Shore Mothers of Twins Club.

Mrs Dash was employed for several years as an aide for the City of Salem School system. She was previously employed as a cook at the Landmark School in Beverly for 15 years.

Besides her husband, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Terrence and Laura Dash of Raleigh, NC, Kevin and Christine Dash of Beverly, one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Barry Silva of Salisbury, three grandchildren, Amy Silva of Salisbury, Jordan Dash and Holly Dash of Beverly, two sisters, Linda Gurule of Albuquerque, NM, Frances and her husband James Fachko of Seneca, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Douglas D. Dash.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 6, 2009 at 11 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Visiting hours will be Sunday, 4 to 8 pm.
