TEWKSBURY: Matthew T. Ridge, age 31, a lifelong Tewksbury resident, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.
Born in Lowell on April 25, 1978, he was the beloved son of Joyce (Mosier) Ridge of Tewksbury and Patrick Ridge of Littleton.
Matthew attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1998.
Diagnosed at birth with an inoperable heart condition, Matthew lived each day to the fullest.
He enjoyed many interests especially politics, watching football and movies and keeping up with current events.
Matthew was deeply loved by his whole family and his mother devoted her life to his care.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, David P. Ridge of Methuen; one sister, Colleen T. Ridge of California; also many extended family members.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 3rd at 10 a.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. At the request of the family there are No Calling Hours.
