Obituary

Mildred M. Campbell (Maxwell), age 88, died unexpectedly at South Shore Hospital on Saturday June 20th. Born February 22, 1921 in Boston, she was the youngest of 3 children of the late Harry and Elsie Maxwell. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Campbell. They were married for 57 years. She is survived by her daughter Dale I. Williams and her husband William W. Williams IV and her son Roy A. Campbell and his wife Evie. She was the mother of the late Ralph D. Campbell. Mildred “Millie” is survived by her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mildred was pre-deceased by her sister Ruth E. Landry and her brother Edwin “Ted” Maxwell. Mildred was known for her positive, joyful outlook on life. She was an active member and participant in her church, The First Congregational Church of Marshfield and the LBS group. She was also a member of the Eastern Star for over 60 years and a current member of Rexham Chapter 107, in Marshfield. Mildred enjoyed her crafts, painting, music and her family and friends. There will be a memorial service in celebration of her life at the First Congregational Church, 1981 Ocean St. in Marshfield, MA on Saturday July 18th at 1 PM. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The First Congregational Church, 1981 Ocean St. Marshfield, MA 02050, or the American Diabetes Association, 1 Bromfield St. 5th Floor, Boston, MA. 02108.
