Obituary

Minnie Mae Guinn, 85, of Louisville, Georgia, died Tuesday, June 30,at Jefferson County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 3 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. David Biggers officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.

Mrs. Guinn was born May 4, 1924 in Gwinnett County to the late Milligan M. and Vinnie Lee Baughcum White. She lived in Louisville for the past twelve years and was a former resident of Irwinville, Swainsboro, Eatonton and Eastman. During War World II, she worked for the Bomber plants in Macon and Augusta. She was a homemaker and an Avon sales representative. Mrs. Guinn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Louisville.

She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Edsall of Swainsboro and Anita Guinn of Louisville, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Mildred Rogers of Fitzgerald, Pearl Hall of Tucker, Irene Anderson of Fitzgerald and Betty Avery of Doles as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Guinn, brother, Daniel Claude White and three great-grandchildren.
