...Vietnam Veteran, age 70
TEWKSBURY - Robert N. Scott, age 70, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer after a lengthy illness. He was born January 22, 1939, in Plattsburg NY, a son of the late Arthur Sr. and Isabelle (Bidwell) Scott. He was raised in upstate New York, and lived in Kingston, NY, before moving to Tewksbury in 1969.
He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Bosens Mate, and was a member of the DAV Post 110 in Tewksbury. He was employed as a security guard.
He is survived by a brother, Arthur Henry Scott, Jr. and his wife Frances of Belmont, NH, a sister: Loretta (Scott) Sperin of Huntington, NY and many nieces and nephews.
He was also brother of the late Franklin Scott and his wife the late Anna Mae Scott.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, July 3,2009 in St. William Church, 1351 Main St., Tewksbury. Burial followed at Tewksbury Cemetery.
