ATTLEBORO: Miss Angelina “Corey” Moscardelli 92 of 193 Pleasant St. and a former longtime Franklin resident, died Saturday June 27, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Attleboro, following an extended period of failing health.
Born in New York City, September 1, 1916 a daughter of the late Antonio and Giovanna (Ferrone) Moscardelli, she was raised and educated in Franklin, and was retired from the former Whiting & Davis Co., in Plainville where she worked as a stitcher for more than 40 years.
She was an avid Red Sox and NE Patriots fan, played for several local bowling leagues, and enjoyed seasonal residency in S. Yarmouth.
Her immediate survivors include many generational nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Marie Gianetti, Vera Bishop, Rose, Lena, Domenic, and Vito Moscardelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday at 11AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. www.franklinfuneral.com.
Interment will follow in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10-11AM at the funeral home.
