WEBSTER - Theresa E. Miczek, 87, of Webster, died Sunday, June 28, in the UMass/Memorial Healthcare after an illness.
She leaves a brother, Theodore J. Miczek and his wife Sally C. of Spencer; 3 nephews, Richard, James and John; 5 nieces, Linda, Charlotte, Barbara, Elizabeth and Suzanne; grandnephews and grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her brothers Leo, Frank, Stanley and Charles Miczek.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of John S. and Tekla (Slota) Miczek and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Bartlett High School and Becker Junior College.
Miss Miczek was a teller at the former Webster National Bank, then Shawmut Bank for over 40 years before retiring in 1986.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica and its Holy Rosary Sodality. In her younger days, she played tennis and was a member of the Worcester Tennis Club.
The funeral will be held Thursday, July 2, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Thursday, July 2, in the funeral home.
