Dorothy E. (Field) Bickford, age 80, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday June 28, 2009. Dot is survived by her husband Paul S. Bickford, 2 sons David Bickford of Whitman and Paul O. Bickford of Marietta, GA, 2 daughters, Cheryl Re of Abington and Debbie Jarvis of Oxford, AL, 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Dorothy was born and spent most of her life in Weymouth. She was a Customer Representative for 20 years for Tedeshci Supermarket in Rockland and Stop and Shop Supermarket in Braintree. Friends and relatives are invited to the Visiting Hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday July 1 from 3 to 6 P.M. and the Memorial Service immediately following at 6 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dot’s memory to the Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Dr. Braintree, MA 02185-9060.
