Obituary

Marjorie C. (Converse) Brunelle-Scott, 80, of Wareham died July 23, 2003 at Northeast Specialty Hospital after a long illness.

She was the wife of James H. Scott and the late Arthur Brunelle.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Philip and Laura (Daniels) Converse, she had lived in Wareham and Mattapoisett for most of her life.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Wareham.

Mrs. Brunelle-Scott was formerly employed as a chemical sales engineer for the Penetone Division of Amerace Corporation, and later managed the "Pure & Simple", a health food store in Mattapoisett.

She was a jazz singer and pianist.

Survivors include her husband; 2 sons, Robert Fisher of Vermont and Philip Fisher of Quincy; a daughter, Lauren Fisher of Marion; 2 stepsons, James H. Scott, III, of California, and Brian M. Scott of Florida; a sister, Ruth Sisson of Cohasset; 6 grandchildren, Timothy Daniels Fisher, Jonathan Marshall Nosworthy, Francis Donald Emmett, Lindsay Marjorie Nosworthy, Kacey Lauren Nosworthy and Olivia Frances Emmett; 2 step-grandchildren, Bryn Scott and Bridget Scott; and a great-grandson, Tyler Happenny.

She was the mother of the late Cindy Fisher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett, Monday, July 28th at 11 AM.

Visiting hours Sunday, July 27th from 5-8 PM.

Interment Cushing Cemetery.
