
DeDominici, Joseph A. “Joe D” of Weymouth, June 26, at the age of 66, beloved husband of Lillian (Guido) DeDominici. Loving father of Anthony DeDominici and his wife Dawn of Weymouth and Teresa Henderson and her husband Scott of Weymouth. Grandfather of Anthony and Michael DeDominici and Mikayla and Emily Henderson of Weymouth. Son of Concetta “Mamie” (Cardia) of Duxbury formerly of Quincy and the late Stellario “Leo” DeDominici. Brother of Josephine and Dan Coffey of Kingston. Also survived by a large extended family.
Joe was born and raised in Dorchester and graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in 1961. He has lived in Weymouth for 41 years. “Joe D” has been a Barber for 47 years, beginning his career working 10 years in his fathers barber shop before opening up his first barber shop called “Joey D’s” in Wollaston which he operated for 7 years. Joe then taught Barber school in Malden for four years before opening Yankee Clipper Barber shop in Pembroke with his partner Carol Santacross. Joe and Carol have been in business for 30 years. His favorite hobby was riding his motorcycles with his friends. He was one of the original five founders of the Road Runners Motorcycle Club “RRMC4” in Dorchester 1962.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am in the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean, Rte 139 Marshfield.
Visiting hours Monday from 4 to 8 pm.
Interment will be in the Knollwood Memorial Park Canton, MA.
