Sizaltina “Sally” (Simbro) Borges, age 94 of Fall River. Passed away June 24, 2009. Widow of Charles S. Borges Sr. and daughter of the late Antonio M. and Sizaltina (Cabral) Simbro. She was a lifelong Fall River resident, a member of St. Michael Church and retired drop hand and spooler at Sagamore Mills.
She is survived by: 3 siblings: Thomas Simbro, Robert Moore and Laura Rogers all of Fall River, 2 grandchildren, 7 great grandchild and several nieces & nephews. She was mother of the late Charles “Butch” Borges, Jr., and sister of the late Manuel, John and Joseph Simbro and Eva Moore.
Her funeral will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. MONDAY with calling hours from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. services in the funeral home. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. There are no SUNDAY calling hours.
