WORCESTER-Muriel M. (Taylor) Greenhalgh, 96, of Worcester, died Thursday, June 25th in the Lutheran Healthcare Center. Her husband, William S. Greenhalgh, died in 1988. She leaves a daughter, Patricia A. Roy and her husband Richard of Paxton; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of James R.S. and Muril E. (Moore) Taylor and lived here all her life. She was a member of All Saints Church. Mrs. Greenhalgh enjoyed caring for her house, yard, and her family, especially her grandchildren. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staffs of the Lutheran Healthcare Center and Evercare Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided Muriel.
The funeral is Monday, June 29th with a service at 11:00 A.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour is from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Monday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
