FRANKLIN: Christopher M. Rizzi 38 of Franklin, and a former Bellingham resident, died Wednesday June 24, 2009 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, where he had been a patient since June 16th. He was the beloved husband of Jill M. (Courville) Rizzi.
Born in Jersey City New Jersey, July 29, 1970 a son of Michael A. and Jacklyn M. (Marot) Rizzi of Warwick, he was raised and educated in Rhode Island and was a 1988 graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School. He was also a 1992 graduate of Providence College.
He was a manager for the Meditech Co. in Westwood, MA.
He loved spending his free time with his children, and also enjoyed skiing, sailing, cooking and gardening.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are 2 sons: Zachary M. and Alec D. Rizzi of Bellingham, 2 stepsons: Alexander D. & Zachary F. Mongeau of Franklin, his paternal grandmother Beulah Rizzi of New Jersey, his aunts Deborah Rizzi, Denise Coursalt and family, and an uncle Daniel Rizzi and family all of New Jersey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Monday at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. www.franklinfuneral.com with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church SQ Franklin at 10AM. Interment will follow at Pawtuxet Memorial Park 100 Harrison Ave. Warwick, RI.
