Helen (Charline) Hawks Crotzer, 82, Clarksville, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Sterling House Assisted Living. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Clarksville, TN with Rev. Steve Louder officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday at Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born July 6, 1926 in Jackson, TN daughter of the late Zonnie Hawks and Helena Barar Hawks. She was preceded in death by her husband William (Emmitt) Crotzer. Ms. Crotzer was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a retired secretary. Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Hayes (Phillip) and Vicki Ferrell (Jeff); four grandchildren, Jennifer and Jason Hayes and Holly and Scott Ferrell; two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Toni Peacher; brother-in-law R.D. Crotzer (Helen), and sister-in-law Grace Stanfill (George). Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Sterling House staff and employees.
