Paula Elwood Davidson, 61 of Londonderry, NH and formerly of Pensacola, Fl, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2009 at her parents home. Born in Londonderry on August 16, 1947, she was a daughter of Wayland and Pauline (Beaton) Elwood. Paula was a former employee of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Pensacola where she was involved with Stephen Ministries and a member of Daughter's of the King. Paula was a graduate of Alvirne High School Class of 1965 and in 1966 she was named New Hampshire Fruit Growers Apple Queen. She owned Apple House Ceramics and loved gardening, cooking and crocheting.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Londonderry, she is survived by one son, Bill Davidson, one daughter, Kathleen (Kenneth) Toole, five grandchildren, Nick, Joe, Abby, Zachary and Ciara, two brothers, Wayne (Linda) Elwood and Wayland C. (Ann) Elwood as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment followed in Pillsbury Cemetery, Londonderry.
