Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 65 West Elm Street at 10 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 6-9pm.
Obituary Information
Antonio S. Leite died Tuesday at Regent Park Manor after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in St. Antonio, Cape Verde, a son of Olavio Leite of Cape Verde and the late Sabastiana (Bettencourt) Leite. After leaving Cape Verde he moved to Boston, worked for various jobs in the Boston area and moved to Brockton ten years ago. He had been employed in Brockton by D’Angelo’s on Warren Avenue, Superior Bakery, Roche Brothers Supermarket in Randolph and was employed by Montilio’s Bakery in Brockton at the time of his illness. He enjoyed jokes, laughter and helping others find jobs.
He is survived by his wife Amarilia “Maria” (Cardoso) Leite. Two sons Miguel Cardoso Leite, and Dominick Cardoso Leite and one daughter Stephany Cardoso Leite all of Brockton. He was also the father of Eric Silva and Erica B. Correia both of Brockton, Olavio Leite, Marcos B. Leite, and Antonio Leite Jr. all of Boston, one brother Eric Leite , two sisters Fernanda Leite and Isabelle Leite all of Cape Verde and several nieces and nephews
