Georgina (Yates) Curtis, 86, of Woburn passed away on June 21, at the Woburn Nursing Center following a extended illness. She was the wife of the late Alfred E. Curtis.
Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Esther (Gustavson) and George Yates. Georgina was a quiet, unassuming lady, who enjoyed arts and crafts.
She is survived by her son Alfred Curtis of Fl.,her daughter Roberta L. Jones of Billerica. Four loving grandchildren, Jason Curtis, Susan Crapo, James and Scott McParland. Three great grandchildren Tyler Crapo, Annabelle and Jillian McParland. Also her sister Ruth Santorsa of New Hampshire.
In addition to her husband Alfred she preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Leo and William Yates, and three sisters, Inez Mercier, Agnes Schofield and Kathleen Walsh,
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant ST. Woburn on Saturday, June 27, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celbrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 10. Services will conclude with buarial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 4 thru 8.
