J.T. Richardson, 72, of Summerville, owner of J.T.’s Paint and Body Shop and widower of Elaine R. Richardson, died Sunday, June 21, 2 009 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 1:00 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Entombment will be held at Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville.
Friends may visit at the funeral home from 5 until 8 Tuesday evening.

J.T. was born May 30, 1937 in Loris, SC, a son of Louise Lewis Richardson of Charleston and the late William E. Richardson. He attended Horry County Schools. He was a mason and a shriner. He was a member of the First Church of Nazarene. His greatest accomplishment in life was finding Jesus.
Surviving in addition to his mother are:
2 sons: Mitchell Richardson and Greg Richardson (Tasha) all of Summerville.
3 daughters: Trish LeMay (Ernest), Debbie Reaves (David Haynes) and Sharon Richardson (Don Ziegler) all of Summerville.
1 brother: L.D. Richardson (Evelyn) of Orangeburg
2 sisters: Olean Rabon and Vaudell Cantwell (Allan) all of Charleston. 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
