Stephen John Stephanian age 85 of Salem, NH, died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem for the past 24 years.
Mr. Stephanian was a retired Supervisor and Letter Carrier for the Lawrence, MA Post Office. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Church in Windham, NH, and a member of the Knights of Columbus # 4027 in Methuen, MA. He was a US Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was a charter member of the World War II Memorial, the VFW post # 1549 in Lawrence, MA, and the Letter Carriers Union Branch 212, where he was a past president, and a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. He was also the Legislative Director & Past President of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Methuen, MA Chapter.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 24 at 10 AM at St. Matthew’s Church, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 23 from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
